Charlie Barone
has been involved in the auto body business for over 27 years, having owned and managed several collision repair businesses. He is an ASE Master Certified Technician, a licensed Pa. Physical Damage Appraiser, and holds his state's safety inspection license. Evolving from a painter in a dealer body shop, Charlie has been certified in the application of paint systems. repair, Charlie has completed the I-CAR training programs and sits on advisory boards of local vo-tech schools. |

In 1993 he joined the staff of Chilton's Automotive Body Repair News (ABRN) in the capacity of technical editor. After 7 years directing its editorial of
the magazine, driving its involvement with the industry and giving it some fresh views, he devoted his energies towards the consumer. |
